What you will be doing:

You will work closely with our CTO and take full ownership of our deployment processes. We are a small team and you will become an ambassador for devops in our organisation. Here are some things you'll be responsible for:

Google Cloud Platform, where we host our production environments, but also our test/staging environments.
Kubernetes/Docker
Monitoring/alerting
Create and improve on existing documentation.
Being active in making sure that our tooling and processes are continuously improving.
Managing our CI/CD pipeline
Software development (probably limited, but it is likely that you will need to touch the code from time to time. The bulk of our backend is written in Go).
Sharing knowledge about devops to our engineers

Below is a list of the knowledge and personality traits that we think could help you succeed as an engineer at Docly.

Documented experience in working on cloud platforms, preferably GCP (this is a must)
Experience with Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes (this is a must)
You are passionate about what you do and have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.
Get stuff done and think independently about priorities and the bigger picture of what we are doing.

Just as we try to employ an agile process when we develop our product, we want our people to be agile too. So if you feel like improving your skills in an area that is not currently your expertise, we applaud and encourage that! You must be fluent in English, and it is a big plus if you speak Swedish. To be successful in this role we also see that you have 5 years plus experience with similar tasks.
