Connecting active people, a social community platform for sports and fitness

TROOPR is the next generation social platform for sports and fitness with the ambition to connect and activate more people. We want to battle inactivity and loneliness on a global level, by bringing more joy to people through activation.

We begin by building a tool for sports teams and fitness group that reduces the admin for the leaders and improves the experience for the members. Long term we want to be the go-to place to discover, buy, arrange and discuss fitness and sports. Including a marketplace for all fitness related activities happening in your area, from paid events, supervised training to spontaneous sporting. A place to discover the local and sports groups, and a social feed follow your friends, keep track of what’s going on in your area and consume fitness related content. Everything with the ambition of connecting and activating people.

We are at an exciting phase in our startup journey, after closing our pre-seed funding we are looking to invest heavily in our teach. During the winter we will be setting up our own tech hub in Malaysia in addition to our Swedish team, with the possibility of spending our wintern there instead!

We already have an active beta and are currently piloting it with an active userbase of 2000 users. By next spring we hope to launch our product publicly, proving product market fit on our home turf in Stockholm. By Q2 2023 we are aiming to close a seed round and launch on our second market in Europe. We want to make a global impact and by 2028 we aim at passing 20 million active users.
