Becoming the global standard treatment for chronic joint pain.
Joint Academy exists because millions of people all over the world still suffer from joint pain. We exist because we know that there is a better solution to that than pills and surgery. We exist because we believe that every single person living with joint pain has the right to appropriate, sustainable care – when and where they need it.
We are a global leader in delivering digital treatment for chronic joint pain, connecting patients with licensed Physical Therapists. Backed by science, our treatment is based on a clinically validated face-to-face treatment and includes individualized exercises, interactive education and tracking tools. The intersection of digital treatment and data science opens up to new possibilities of treating patients in a sustainable and more personal way, while reducing pain and improving quality of life.
Our tech department consists of 50+ developers aiming for creating a scalable and user friendly tech platform which can easily be released in several countries with great patient value. We balance the fast pace required in a startup with continual investment in frameworks, tools and practices to keep our platform healthy in the long term. The tech team will continue to grow the coming year.
As the number of patients receiving treatment through our program is constantly growing and we are launching our product to new international markets, we are now recruiting more people who want to be part of our journey and help us to develop and improve our product.
You will get the opportunity to work with a unique mix of people with different expertise, including leading academic scientists, medical professionals and experienced product developers. Our HQ is a modern office located in a beautiful building with great views of the city, only 400 meters from Malmö central station, but we also offer the opportunity to work remotely - or why not a hybrid of them both!
We can offer a challenging and fast moving environment with interesting technical challenges, where each individual contribution really matters.
We value transparency and collaboration, and some additional benefits worth to mention are 30 days of paid vacation, pension & insurance package, flexible working hours, wellness contribution and the opportunity to workout during office hours.
