Om rollen

XSLT Developer is a customer facing role where you primarily will help new and existing customers adapt the service offering of Paligo to their specific needs, this within two main areas; 1. Converting the customers existing content for import into Paligo when migrating to Paligo as their authoring environment, 2. Customizing details in published outputs to meet specific requirements.

The Professional Services team meets on a daily basis to collaborate, plan, prioritize, and help each other on ongoing projects. Working with special projects such as migration, you will help them with publishing websites and PDF’s and you will be an important part of ensuring an excellent customer experience by being the customers point of contact whilst working on these projects.

The position offers great variety where you will get to work on different tasks such as:

Assist customer support, customer success, and sales engineering with requests that require technical analysis/troubleshooting.

Estimate the effort and time required to implement a customer request

Plan, design, implement and deliver the solution fulfilling the request

Monitor time spent and signal if you see a risk for the project budget.

Collaborate in the Professional Services team to share knowledge and give as well as get help on challenging problems.


About you
To succeed in the role as XSLT Developer, we think that you are an excellent communicator and are used to communicating both internally in the team as well as externally to external stakeholders. You are a problem solver, analytical, and someone who enjoys coming up with practical solutions when you encounter challenging problems. Furthermore, you are a team player – we are all working towards the same goal, whether you're a developer or a salesperson, and no matter where in the world you are!


Beyond that, we imagine that you have some of the following points in your resumé:

2+ years of experience XSLT version 1 & 2

2+ years of experience from technical documentation

Knowledge of the DocBook content model, including the HTML and XSL-FO output transformations

Experience with source control using git

Fluent in English and Swedish, in speech and writing

Nice to haves:

XSLT version 3

Broad technical knowledge and experience from XML, XSL-FO, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, scripting, XQuery, BaseX, bash, python, data analysis, data conversion

Experience from working with a CCMS product

Experience with project management
