3D Software Engineer – Visualization and Geospatial Technology As a 3D Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our 3D engine to create visually stunning, high-quality solutions. You will work closely with our team to implement new technologies, optimize performance, and build applications that deliver highly realistic environments. This role involves significant responsibility for both the technical and visual aspects of our products, offering you the freedom to contribute innovative ideas and drive technological advancements.What We’re Looking For We are searching for someone passionate about 3D visualization, with strong technical expertise and an interest in working with high-precision data such as point clouds and lidar. While experience is valuable, your passion, commitment, and drive to learn and grow are what truly matter.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, develop, and enhance our 3D engine and graphics-based software.</li><li>Implement shaders and algorithms to optimize visual outcomes.</li><li>Work with geospatial data, including LIDAR and point clouds, to create realistic visualizations.</li><li>Contribute to architectural decisions and technical choices that shape the future of our software.</li><li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers and designers.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of C# and experience with C#-based 3D engines, such as Unity or MonoGame.</li><li>Proficiency in DirectX, OpenGL, or similar technologies.</li><li>Solid understanding of 3D mathematics and algorithms, including linear algebra and geometry.</li><li>Experience with shaders and a keen eye for visual quality.</li></ul>Bonus for experience with:<ul><li>GIS technologies and geospatial data.</li><li>Point cloud and LIDAR-based solutions.</li><li>CAD or architecture-based software.</li></ul>Nice-to-Have:<ul><li>Experience in game or graphics development within the gaming industry.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS.</li><li>Background in sports, mapping, or CAD-related industries.</li></ul>About You You are a self-motivated developer who thrives on creating innovative solutions and quickly adopting new technologies. You enjoy working in a flexible, dynamic environment, take ownership of your work, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
